<h1>Part-Time Office Assistant</h1><p><strong>Industry:</strong> Concrete Construction<br></p><p><strong>Schedule:</strong> 15-30 hours per week, Monday-Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM</p><h2>Position Overview</h2><p>We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented <strong>Part-Time Office Assistant</strong> to support daily administrative operations within our concrete construction company. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment. The Office Assistant will provide general office support to ensure efficient and smooth day-to-day operations.</p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><p>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>Answering and directing phone calls in a professional manner</li><li>Preparing and sending correspondence, including letters and emails</li><li>Making outbound phone calls as needed</li><li>Data entry and maintaining accurate records</li><li>Creating, editing, and formatting documents using Microsoft Word and Excel</li><li>Copying, scanning, and filing documents</li><li>Assisting with job-related paperwork and documentation</li><li>Supporting office staff with general administrative duties</li><li>Maintaining organized filing systems (electronic and paper)</li><li>Other basic office duties as assigned</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><p><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Ability to multitask and prioritize workload</li><li>Professional demeanor and dependable attendance</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><ul><li>Prior administrative or office experience</li><li>Knowledge or experience in the concrete or construction industry</li></ul><h2>Work Hours</h2><ul><li>15-30 hours per week</li><li>Flexible scheduling within business hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday</li></ul><h2>Work Environment</h2><ul><li>Office setting within a concrete construction company</li><li>May involve occasional interaction with field staff, vendors, and clients</li></ul>
