We value our employees and offer the following benefits: <ul><li>401(k) with matching after first year of employment</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul> About the Job: Position: Manual Laborer Pay: $18.00 per hour Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person Key Responsibilities: Daily Tasks<ul><li>Report to supervisor daily at check-in; do not leave premises without prior approval.</li><li>Always check with supervisor or dispatcher before clocking out and leaving for the day.</li><li>Keep the entire plant site clean of loose trash or garbage.</li><li>Empty office, shop, and yard trash cans.</li><li>Break down block forms that have been poured daily.</li><li>Keep empty block forms ready for bring back concrete.</li><li>Maintain block casting forms and areas clean and neat, storing tools properly.</li><li>Clean up spillage around head/tail pulley and under truck loading conveyor.</li><li>Wash down the under-plant area.</li><li>Sweep/wash down traffic areas as needed - sweep the plant entrance daily.</li><li>Sprinkle plant site with water as needed on windy days.</li><li>Assist shop/plant maintenance staff as needed.</li></ul> Weekly Tasks<ul><li>Mow yard areas.</li><li>Spray weeds in non-yard areas.</li><li>Weed-eat all fence lines and weeds within plant site boundaries.</li><li>Drain water off of fuel tank(s).</li><li>Clean out/pump out the fuel tank area.</li><li>Maintain (fluid levels, clean trash, wash, and clean) all non-assigned vehicles (e.g., dump trucks, light plants, automobiles, etc.).</li></ul> Work Schedule: We appreciate hard work and commitment. The work schedule includes:<ul><li>8-hour shift</li><li>10-hour shift</li><li>12-hour shift</li><li>Day shift</li><li>Monday to Friday</li><li>Overtime</li><li>Weekends as needed</li></ul> Requirements<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Required)</li><li>Driver's License (Required)</li><li>Preferred: 1 year of construction experience</li></ul> Other duties may be assigned to meet company and departmental goals. --- Join the Hope Concrete team today and make a difference in our plant maintenance and operations!
