We take pride in maintaining a safe, efficient, and reliable fleet of equipment and facilities. We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanic with electrical experience to join our maintenance team.


Position Summary:

The Mechanic will be responsible for performing mechanical repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting on a variety of equipment used in concrete production, including mixers, conveyors, batch plants, and support vehicles. Electrical experience is essential for diagnosing and repairing control panels, motors, and industrial wiring systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on concrete production equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, and diesel engines.
  • Install, diagnose, and repair electrical systems including motors, control panels, sensors, and wiring.
  • Maintain accurate service records and equipment logs.
  • Ensure all repairs meet safety and operational standards.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and on-site service calls as needed.
  • Collaborate with plant operators and production managers to minimize downtime.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of mechanical maintenance experience, preferably in the concrete or construction materials industry.
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair skills (industrial motors, panels, controls).
  • Experience with heavy equipment, diesel engines, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, electrical schematics, and diagrams.
  • Must have own tools and valid driver's license.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including some nights and weekends, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Electrical certification or journeyman license a plus.
  • OSHA safety training and knowledge of industrial safety procedures.
  • CDL license is a bonus.
